The Vintage Fashion Show last weekend at InWorldz Events Sim A was a roaring success, with the sim completely full (50 avatars!) and the fabulous models of Allure Modeling Agency strutting their stuff on a fantastic set, specially installed for the occasion. Superb organisation and presentation as ever from Ms Raven Dulce, with excellent music and accomplished commentary from Mr Gerrard Winstanley. The show celebrated fashions from the 1930s to 1950s.
An overview of the spectacular set before the audience arrived:
Participating deisgners in this show were Brelle Dufaux for Haute and Bothered Couture, Cataplexia Numbers and Mike Chase for the Cat’s Meow, Rhiannon McKenna for Head Rush, Carey Maynard for NY Couture and myself, Tanya Matahari for Matahari Style.
On the modelling team – Dazzeray Snowpaw, Kelly4u Lynn, Manni Poliert, Rhiannon McKenna and Tinyallthat Young.

I was honoured to have my first outfit modelled by Miss InWorldz 2012 herself – the very beautiful Kelly4u Lynn – and doesn’t she look wonderful!
And here is Dazzeray, looking absolutely delicious in the Della Cherry Ripe swing dance dress, with cherry-trimmed jewellery and shoes.
The designers got to take a turn down the runway at the close of the show. From left to right: Tanya Matahari, Cataplexia Numbers, Mike Chase, Rhiannon McKenna (who modelled as well!) and Brelle Dufaux.
Rhiannon took her bow still wearing the Carhop Waitress outfit with roller skates that she had modelled earlier. Everyone followed her lead and rushed off to get their skates on for the after-party at InWorldz’s very own roller rink, which was soon hopping to the great music provided by DJ Vanni Cannoli.
A special accolade must go to EventsCoordinater InWorldz (Eve or EC as we have come to know and love her) for the incredible work she has done to make this event such a huge success – not just the fashion show, but all the other attractions that form part of this awesome celebration. Thank you Eve!
